As Dental Professionals, we are taught to look for oral cancer in the mouth and throat. However, on occasion, you may have noticed something unusual on the skin, neck, nose, cheeks, ears, or scalp of a patient when they are sitting in your chair. This course will take an indebt look into lesions on the skin that appear abnormal and just maybe early signs of skin cancer. The course will cover skin cancer symptoms, cancer awareness and lymph node involvement. We will cover how these lesions appear with pictures and photos. We will also cover the distinct types of skin cancers and the various treatment used today.
